Once upon a time, I was a Thru-Hiker

Needless to say that this is not my most appealing picture. Life on the trail does not leave a lot of room for shower, laundry or shaving on a regular basis. In 2020, I spent 126 days traveling on foot from the Mexico to Canada via the Pacific Crest Trail. There is a lot to be said about it and it is difficult to truly describe the ups and downs of such an amazing experience. However, my photo book “Mountains Will not Remember Me” is a faithful narration of the entire adventure. I will answer some of the most common questions I am asked in the following blog posts and I hope that together, book and posts will help you grasp a little bit more what hiking the PCT is or is not.
